Donate clothing, household items or furniture PDF Print E-mail

We rely on the generous support of our donors for all of the merchandise we sell. Individuals, businesses, and churches play an important role in providing the goods for the Thrift Stores. "Gently used" clothing, household items, and furniture are always needed.  St. Vincent de Paul sells the donated goods in our thrift stores. Additionally, some donated items clothe the residents of our campus.

Many of our generous donors have donated valuable antique or collectible items. In order to fully maximize the value of their donation, we often place these items on online auction sites such as eBay instead of selling them at our Thrift Stores. For antiques, collectibles, and other special donated items valued at more than $50, we have partnered with MissionFish, eBay's program for nonprofit organizations. Following the sale of the item, we will provide you with a tax-deductible receipt for the amount of the sale. Click here to visit our auction page.

All profits from the stores directly support our campus facilities for the homeless. There are no “for profit” middlemen in our organization. The full value of your donation will make a difference in this community.

Donation Guidelines

We hope to maximize the value of every donation. Please help us do that by following some general guidelines listed here.

Please be sure all items are clean and gently used. We must dispose of dirty, too-worn, non-working, or wet items.
