|Donate clothing, household items or furniture|
We rely on the generous support of our donors for all of the merchandise we sell. Individuals, businesses, and churches play an important role in providing the goods for the Thrift Stores. "Gently used" clothing, household items, and furniture are always needed. St. Vincent de Paul sells the donated goods in our thrift stores. Additionally, some donated items clothe the residents of our campus.
You are welcome to bring donations to any one of our four store locations (click here for a map). If you have a large donation or furniture to donate please contact our donation pick-up service at (502) 589-7837. We will schedule a convenient time to pick-up your donated items. All profits from the stores directly support our campus facilities for the homeless. There are no “for profit” middlemen in our organization. The full value of your donation will make a difference in this community. Here's a helpful list Thrift Store Donation Guidelines.
Some donors give us special items such as jewelry, antiques and collectibles. In order to maximize the value of these donations, we sometimes try to sell them online instead of in our stores. Once the item sells, we will provide you with a tax-deductible receipt for the amount of the sale. To make arrangements for this type of donation, please contact Wanda Selph at (502) 589-7837.
