Each year, the Society of St. Vincent
de Paul provides emergency and transitional shelter to thousands
who are trying to break the cycle of homelessness, as well
as drug and alcohol abuse.
In addition to
housing, we offer case management to clients in our six
programs, as well as food and clothing, which are offered
to low-income families in the community. Our programs include
six shelters: De Paul Apartments; Ozanam Inn; Simon Hall;
Roberts Hall; St. Jude Women's Recovery Center; and Tranquil
House, as well as the Open Hand Kitchen and a Follow-Up
program. We provide services to homeless men, women and
children without regard to race, color, religion, national
origin, handicaps, gender or family status, who are trying
to achieve self-sufficiency and independence.
Other services
offered at St. Vincent de Paul include, life-skills, vehicle
donation and volunteer opportunities, which help support
the programs.
