The Open Hand Kitchen, in the St. Vincent de Paul Community Center, serves full-course meals to shelter and neighborhood residents. The facility is open 365 days a year and serves three nutritious meals on weekdays and two meals on weekends. The cafeteria-style dining room offers our guests an entrée, vegetables, salad, dessert and bread.

The kitchen served more than 137,000 well-balanced meals last year to the homeless and working poor of the community. The average cost of a meal in the Open Hand Kitchen is $1.50.

Donated food and volunteer services are essential to the kitchen's operation. The Open Hand Kitchen relies on donations from corporations as well as individuals.
