Frigid Temperatures Bring Full House to Homeless Shelter PDF Print E-mail

WHAS-11, Jan. 3, 2009

Frigid temperatures are leading to a slight increase in demand at area homeless shelters. Officials with St. Vincent de Paul said people are coming in earlier than usual, instead of staying out all night in the cold. They said that because all 52 beds are currently taken, they are being forced to direct more people to other shelters.
