| Church to Host Coat Giveaway |

The Courier-Journal, Dec. 4, 2011 A winter coat giveaway will be held Tuesday at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 443 E. Kentucky St., in Louisville's Smoketown/Shelby Park neighborhood from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The event will take place in the church's community center. It is sponsored by St. Vincent de Paul and Makenzie Smith, a 12-year-old Borden, Ind., girl who has organized an effort to collect more than 4,000 new and gently used coats for children and adults.
