Fifth Third Day at the Open Hand Kitchen
We are thankful for the generosity of local Fifth Third Bank employees. As part of Fifth Third Day, employees donated $6,250 to the Open Hand Kitchen and stuck around to serve lunch. Fifth Third bank has become an important partner in the work we do here at St. Vincent de Paul.
St. Vincent de Paul Hosts Iftar Dinner
During Ramadan, the Open Hand Kitchen was host to an Iftar dinner with the Guiding Light Islamic Center. Thank you to Safier Mediterranean Deli for catering, Imam Wasif Iqbal and Muhammad Salah, and Mayor Greg Fischer for visiting! The sense of fellowship and community made it a great evening for all.
