Thank you to everyone who came out to Churchill Downs for our 3rd Annual Friends of the Poor Walk. The event raised more than $27,000 for our community outreach to families and individuals seeking emergency help with rent, food and utilities.
St. Vincent de Paul will coordinate on-site clothing and furniture drives for organizations, local businesses, churches and schools wishing to support our programs. The Tag-A-Door program is designed to increase much needed donations for our Thrift Stores. We are proud to host many student volunteers on our campus. Throughout the year, young volunteers and student groups help support St. Vincent de Paul through special projects such as helping the children residing on our campus with after school activities, hosting birthday parties and holding art and craft events.
