Louisville Orchestra Music Director Teddy Abrams and friends performed music in St. Vincent de Paul’s Open Hand Kitchen at noon on Saturday, Dec. 19. Children danced behind a Christmas tree on the stage area of the room, as people in the dining area ate a hot meal of ham, corn bread and macaroni and cheese.
With just an electronic keyboard, percussion box and violin, the lively music filled the former church sanctuary, where diners lingered to listen and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Thanks to Teddy, Scott Moore and Jecorah Arthur for being such a blessing to so many!
