St. Vincent de Paul Louisville received many of the buildings we use today from the Archdiocese of Louisville. These buildings, the rectory (Simon Hall), the church (Open Hand Kitchen), and school (Ozanam Inn) have served us well for many years. To continue serving us, the buildings need ongoing repairs and maintenance. We have created a Rainy Day Fund for this purpose. A group of generous donors provided us with matching gift funds of $175,000 and have challenged our supporters to raise the additional funds we need for maintaining our buildings.
As of June 30, we have raised a total of $272,801.93. We’re getting so close to our goal! We are asking you as a supporter of St. Vincent de Paul Louisville to consider making a special donation toward our Rainy Day Fund. Your donation will allow us to make vital repairs to all our buildings and be prepared for the emergencies that arise in older buildings.
To give to the Rainy Day Fund, please include “Rainy Day Fund” to the memo field of your check or go to svdplou.org/rainy-day-fund/ to donate online. Thank you for all you do to care for those in need. We couldn’t do it without you!
