LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Children at St. Vincent de Paul got a surprise visit Monday afternoon from two therapy dogs.
Sage, Wilson and their trainers provide comfort and companionship for those living at the [St. Vincent de Paul].
The dogs were part of Paws with Purpose, a non-profit who helps provide therapy dogs for those who need them.
The children learned how the dogs help break down social barriers and perform tasks which help their partners lead more independent lives.
This is the[second] year Paws with Purpose has visited St. Vincent de Paul. Slideshow
