Careers at St. Vincent de Paul Louisville

Hard Work That's Worth It

Since 1853, St. Vincent de Paul Louisville has served those in need. Fast forward many years later, and we have seen incredible growth in our organizational reach and range of comprehensive services in our Shelby Park campus. We put all of our energy and resources towards housing, feeding, and supporting those in need with compassion and dignity. Whether you want to work on the front lines or behind the scenes, you can be a part of helping individuals and families take a step in their journey. This could be towards housing stability, food security, or attaining the necessary support to better their lives today and in the future. We serve Veterans, children, single parents, those with disabilities, and men and women who have suffered from chronic homelessness. It’s hard work, but it’s worth it!

  • “I first started working with St. Vincent de Paul Louisville as a seven-year-old. My family and I had a nonprofit where we collected coats and other winter apparel and donated them to SVDP for over a decade. It was incredible to come full circle and start my career here with our Development Team! The work we do is so rewarding and I am proud to work for this organization.”

    —Makenzie Greenwell, Special Events Manager

  • “I wanted to work at St. Vincent de Paul to utilize my degree. I was lucky to have friends in the field and they said that St. Vincent de Paul was a wonderful place to work and is a great experience.”

    —Doug Vasquez, Case Manager
