We are seeing a significant rise in food insecurity across our community. In recent months, the number of individuals and families seeking groceries from our Food Pantry or a meal in our Open Hand Kitchen has grown dramatically—sometimes beyond what our shelves can provide. As we approach the holiday season, we ask for your support to help ensure no one goes hungry. Your generosity helps keep our shelves stocked and our neighbors fed.
Donation Guidelines
- Due to limited freezer space, please NO frozen turkeys, hams, or chickens.
- NO large or bulk-sized food containers, as it is difficult to bag and for our neighbors to carry home.
- NO glass jars, as they are fragile and are easily broken.
Drop Off Instructions
- Our Food Pantry (415 E. St. Catherine St.) accepts donations on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to Noon. Volunteers are available to help you unload. If you have any questions, you can reach out to Nicky Peck, Volunteer Engagement Coordinator, at (502) 276-6078. Here's a link to parking instructions.
