For many of the parents or guardians we serve, Christmas morning can feel out of reach. For the past 30 years, Santa Shop has existed to change that — to make sure that every child you serve wakes up on Christmas morning to gifts that our supporters and conferences cared about enough to choose specifically for them. That wouldn’t happen without you. Thank you for partnering with us to create a meaningful Christmas for the households we serve. Here's how it works. 


How to Shop for a Child
 

Thank you for supporting children (ages infant to 17-years-old) in our housing programs and through our conference outreach. After you fill out the form to shop for a child (click button below), we will match you with a specific wish list to purchase gifts at approximately $100-150 per child. We will notify you within 1-3 business days. 

You should expect to purchase wish list items such as toys, games, books, art supplies, personal care items and clothing accessories like hats, gloves, and scarves.

A few items we left off the list that you won't have to purchase: winter coats (we have those covered through a generous donation this year!), large or oversized items such as furniture, appliances, bikes, scooters, and household goods. We simply don't have the space to store large items, and we want every gift to make it into a child's hands. 
 

How to Drop Off Gifts
 

Gifts should be dropped off on our campus at our Administration Building from Tuesday, Dec. 1 through Friday, Dec. 4, between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m, to allow us time to bundle before our family distribution day. The address is 1015-C S. Preston Street. When you arrive, park in the staff and volunteer parking lot and our Administration Building is only a few steps away. Ring the bell at the front entrance, and a staff member or volunteer will come to collect your gifts. • Christmas gifts should be dropped off new and unwrapped in a Christmas-themed plastic/cloth bag. Here is a link to purchase them. 
• If you cannot drop off your gifts on the designated days, contact us at holidays@svdplou.org to schedule another time.
• Please note that we are unable to offer truck pick-up services this year due to limited staffing resources. If you sign up for a large number of wish lists, we ask that all donations be delivered to our Administration Building. Thank you for your understanding!
